SUNFLOWER AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

The Sunflower Ambassador program celebrates character education in Blue Valley. This program, sponsored by BVEF and underwritten by Shawnee Mission Health, honors a staff member and a 4th, 7th and 11th grader from each Blue Valley school, as well as a staff member at CAPS, Hilltop Learning Center, and the District Office, who are nominated in essays written by their peers and selected based on who best exemplifies the seven Blue Valley Virtues: compassion, courage, honesty, respect, responsibility, perseverance and self-discipline.

Ambassadors and Nominators are announced in assemblies at each building in April and are recognized at the Community Breakfast.
