#BVEFGrants will be the thing to follow on Facebook and Twitter starting Nov. 1. We are excited to be delivering $96K in ONE DAY! On November 7, you can follow us to find out where the #BVEFSurpriseSquad will stop. Local celebrities, John Holt and Joel Goldberg will be helping us spread the great news to our teachers... so hold onto your sunflowers and get ready for the fun! After the teachers are surprised by the news, we will be posting the most up-to-date grant information on this page.

Since 1992, the Foundation has awarded more than $4 million for grants, scholarships and special programs in support of educational excellence in the Blue Valley School District.

Grants of Educational Excellence are awarded annually to classroom and district-wide projects or programs that substantially improve or enhance the educational experience of Blue Valley students.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, BVEF awarded a $5,000 Grant of Educational Excellence to every Blue Valley School and 7 district-wide programs, and provided $35,000 in funding for district-wide programs supporting student wellness, character education and personal responsibility during 2015-16.

DonateNow is an online grant program that provides an exciting opportunity for parents, grandparents, community members and organizations to help meet the educational needs of Blue Valley students. Using DonateNow, a Blue Valley teacher can write a grant proposal that describes a project that will substantially improve or enhance the educational experience of their students through innovative and creative teaching and learning techniques, lists the materials needed to implement the project, and outlines how students will benefit from the project. Grant proposals may be for basic or complex projects, but must be for projects for which no other school or parent group funds are available. Click here to see previously funded DonateNow grants.
