Welcome to the Blue Valley Educational Foundation (BVEF) where your contributions have been supporting educational excellence in Blue Valley schools since 1992 by:

• Awarding nearly $1.6 million in grants, scholarships and special programs since 1992.
  
• Bringing the corporate community together to help kick off the school year at our annual Community Breakfast.
  
• Helping with such district-wide programs as:
  StarLab Dome
  HOPSports
  PE4Life
  Summer School Intervention Program
  Cultural Trunks
  Blue Valley Wilderness Science Center
  ACT/SAT Preparation Materials
  Project Graduation/After Prom
  
• Presenting two $2,500 Dr. David Benson Awards to the elementary and secondary Kansas Teacher of the Year nominees. These awards are for programs or projects at the recipients school.
  
• Recognizing students and staff who exemplify the Blue Valley Virtues through our annual Sunflower Ambassador character education program.
  
• Establishing an endowment fund of nearly $800,000. We are committed to increasing that amount every year to ensure extraordinary educational opportunities far into the future for Blue Valley students!

Since its inception in 1992, the Foundation has awarded more than $838,000 to 188 grants, scholarships and special program and nearly $743,000 in restricted scholarships and programs.
